With 25+ years experience hair cutting, coloring, and styling, husband and wife duo Chris & Leigh Cortinaz are two of Austin’s most highly regarded hair stylists.
Together, they launched christopherleighsalon, a luxury boutique hair salon in the heart of Central Austin.
Leigh Cortinaz
Leigh specializes in luxury hair extensions as well as beautiful, natural color and tailored cuts. With over 25 years of experience. Leigh began her career as an apprentice at one of Austin’s original boutique salons, Bella, in the late ‘90’s and then went on to help launch christopherleighsalon with her husband in 2000.
Leigh is proud of the work that she and Chris have done to perfect their approach to color. They consistently achieve natural looking results regardless of shade. Whether it is the sunny warm blonde or cool neutral blonde,. The spectrum of brunette is as vast as the blonde’s. I love to help my brunette clients achieve the level of depth they want. Additionally, I have had the privlege of working with numerous redreads and helping them accomplish a very vibrant and rich color while still looking very natural.
One of the things I love the most is the dramatic transformation I can help a client achileve with hand tied extensions.

Christopher Cortinaz
Chris specializes in curly hair, color and timeless cuts for both women and men. With a 35 year career that includes training at Vidal Sassoon and Tony & Guy, Chris is widely known for his geometric designs. He is an expert in precision progressive cuts-the cut he gives you today will progress into a series of great cuts as your hair grows.
After maintaining a star-studded book of business in both Austin & LA, Chris decided to return to Texas to make Austin his home and fulfill his dream of building a luxury boutique salon in partnership with his wife, Leigh.
